ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nafeesa Shah has said that the address of Prime Minister Imran Khan at midnight is a matter of concern. Addressing the budget session of national Assembly on Tuesday, she said that the government wanted to take revenge through formation of commission. Nafeesa Shah sought explanation from NA Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri for usage of word ‘selected’ in the parliament. “The freedom of expression is right of the parliament members. How the deputy speaker can give ruling against the privilege of MNAs. Taking to the floor of NA, former foreign minister Hina Khar Rabbani has said that the law is being violated openly in the name of accountability. “The nation can never forget the promises of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Imran Khan vows to built university replacing the Prime Minister’s House.” Hina Rabbani Khar said development funds should be provided to the elected representatives without any discrimination. She also expressed concerns over economic situation of the country saying the PTI government has failed to fulfill any of its commitment. Meanwhile, the mike of Hina Rabbani was closed during her speech after completion of given time. On this, the women MNAs of opposition and PPP staged protest. Participating in the debate, Minister of State for States and Frontier Regions Shehryar Khan Afridi said the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan will succeed in transforming this country and earn a respectable place for the country in the comity of nations. He said nobody is above the law and the corrupt elements will face accountability at all costs. Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal said the present government is giving special importance to the development of Balochistan province. She said it is the first time that fourteen percent of the total federal budget has been allocated for Balochistan. She further said it is also the first time that the government is reaching out to the poorest of the poor. The National Assembly is continuing discussion on the budget for next fiscal year.
