Police arrest accused who parked car at Lahore blast site from Rawalpindi

LAHORE (92 News) – The police arrested the accused who had parked his car at the site of the blast in Lahore's Johar Town area from Rawalpindi on Sunday night.

Source said that the accused was identified as Eid Gull and he had been shifted to Lahore for interrogation. Meanwhile, the accused arrested earlier was identified as Peter Paul David who had given the car used in the blast to Eid Gull.

According to investigative sources, the entire network of terrorists and facilitators involved in the blast in Lahore was arrested. Six people involved in the blast are in the custody of law enforcement agencies.

An alleged terrorist, Zia Khan, bought vehicle from Mardan, KPK, and Sajjad assisted him to take it to the target place. It was also reported that Sajjad Hussain, a resident of Mandi Bahauddin, who was involved in shifting the vehicle to Lahore. Sajjad was in contact with mastermind Peter Paul David for the last 10 years and he had confessed to shifting the vehicle to Lahore.
