Police arrest eight more accused in Sialkot incident case
SIALKOT (92 News) – The police arrested eight more accused in the Sialkot incident case on Wednesday.
The police have so far arrested 34 main accused in the case. Later, an anti-terrorism court remanded the eight accused in the police custody for 13 days. They will again be produced on December 21.
Moreover, the accused Imtiaz alias Billi who sprinkled petrol on the body of Sri Lankan factory manager Pyriantha Kumara was also produced in court. Stringent security arrangements had been made on the occasion. Twenty-six accused are already on remand for 15 days.
On the other hand, the police have released 46 accused, out of 131, after a complete investigations. The police said that 46 people had no role in the Sialkot tragedy.
