Police clueless about four missing girls in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – The police are clueless about the four girls missing from Lahore's Hanjarwal area for the last four days.

The police have arrested a rickshaw driver and a neighbour for interrogation. The rickshaw driver told police that he had disembarked the four girls near EME Society at midnight.

They said that Umar, one of their neigbours, had been wandering with them till 11am and later he left them at Hanjarwal on the call of his mother.

The police said that 14-year-old Samreen was using a mobile phone, which first showed the location of Green Town and lastly of Chungi Amar Sidhu.

Parents said that their daughters had gone out without their permission. The abductees include seven-year-old Ayesha, 10-year-old Anam and 11-year-old Kaneeza.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Lahore CCPO. He directed the police to recover the girl at the earliest.
