Police detain extortionist, target killer in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The police detained a target killer and extortionist Raheel in Khawaja Ajmer Nagri. The detained accused confessed to receiving extortion money from several doctors during the initial investigation. As per investigation report, the accused Raheel was a resident of Bagh Korangi, who opened firing at the clinic of Dr Sohail and demanded extortion money in 2009. He further confessed to receiving extortion money from Dr Saleem and Dr Riyasat in 2010. The accused received Rs 100,000 and 50,000 extortion money from Dr Arshad Hashmi in 2010 in Korangi No 5 Sector J. The accused also received Rs 100,000 extortion from Dr Farooq Azam in Bilal Colony.
