ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Police Martyrs’ Day is being observed today (Tuesday) across the country to pay tributes to those police personnel who have rendered their lives for the security and stability of the country. The anthem has been released to pay tribute to police martyrs. However, in the anthem, the tribute was paid to the families of police martyrs also. Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited Yadgar-e-Shuhada in Lahore, laid floral wreath and offered Fatiha. In his message, CM Buzdar said that the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the dear homeland are the heroes of the nation. Ontheother hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that the sacrifices of the police for the protection of the country will always be remembered by the nation. Likewise, Karachi East DIG placed floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada in the metropolis and prayed for the martyrs. Malir and Karachi East SSPs also paid visit to the graves of the martyred officials along with other officers.
