Police ordered to arrest Sheikh Rashid

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Punjab government has on Friday ordered the police to immediately arrest Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid. The provincial government has issued directives to the Punjab police to arrested before 2pm. The entrance and roads leading towards the residence of Sheikh Rashid known as Lal Haveli was sealed by placing containers in front of its main entrance hours before Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally by the police. Awami Muslim League (AML) had announced a rally at the Lal Haveli. Earlier, talking to media, Sheikh Rashid said that the public meeting will be held at all cost, adding that they are not afraid. He said that the way they forced former president Ayub Khan to flee now they will do the same with Nawaz Sharif at 2pm today. The AML chief invited the public to reach Lal Haveli at 2pm after offering Friday prayer.
