Police recovers body of Wajeeha Swati, completes post mortem

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Police has recovered the dead body of Pakistani-American Wajeeha Swati and post mortem has been completed.

According to City Police Officer (CPO) Sajid Kiyani has said that dead body of the deceased has been recovered from Dera Ismail Khan (DIK). Body has been given to heirs. Morgah police will present main accused Rizwan Habib in court for further remand.

Sources say that husband of the deceased bought cars and house on his name from her money. When Wajeeha Swati came back from America, he took her to DIK with him and murdered there.

Main accused in the case had abducted her wife on November 2 and after murdering he buried the body in the surrounding areas of DIK.

Main accused in the case identified the location and the dead body was taken into custody. Kidnapping case was registered at Morgah Police Station on report of victim's son on mysterious disappearance of mother.
