Police shifts Saleem Chanda to unknown place

KARACHI (92 News) – Police have on Sunday shifted Saleem Chanda, an eyewitness of the assassination of sufi singer Amjad farid Sabri to unknown place. Sources privy to investigation said that the life of Saleem Chanda could be in danger as he is the eyewitness. Saleem Chanda said that he was sitting next to martyred Sabri when the gunmen opened fire, adding that the windscreen of the car broke because of the intense firing. He said that he hid underneath the car to save his life. Police had detained Saleem Chanda, a close friend of slain sufi singer over his alleged connection with his murder. Chanda was travelling with Sabri when the incident occurred making him an eyewitness.
