Three cops among five martyred, 8 injured in suicide attack on Bara Tehsil offices

BARA (92 News) – Three policeman and two civilians were martyred while eight others injured when two terrorists stormed into the Bara Tehsil Offices and opened indiscriminate fire on the people there on Thursday.

The attackers could not reach their target due to timely response from the jawans present there. As a result, the attackers blew themselves up.

The injured people include Hanif, Abdul Hadi, Waris Khan, M Arshad, Zubair Nawaz and Gulzaib.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IGP told the media that two suicide attackers had tried to enter the building and they were killed when the policemen retaliated.

He said that the attackers' samples had been taken for the DNA tests. "Both terrorists had opened fire and conducted blasts.

Meanwhile, President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the attack. They expressed their sympathies with the families of the injured policemen.
