Policeman shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – A policeman was shot dead North Nazimabad area of Karachi while going to duty on Saturday. According to details, armed motorcyclists gunned down a police official identified as Munawwar in North Nazimabad area. Munawwar was going to his duty on motorcycle from Kausar Niazi Colony to New Karachi when the miscreants targeted him near his house. The Sindh IG ordered to arrest of accused. According to SSP central, the incident was of targeted killing. Shells of 9mm pistol were found from the scene. The dead body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The police and Rangers officials reached the scene and started investigation. The slain policeman was father of one and had been performing his duties for 12 years.
