Policies of previous govt responsible for storm of inflation, says Fawad Ch

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary has held the previous government responsible for the storm of inflation .

Talking to the media on Friday, he said that former finance minister had ruthlessly used the foreign exchange to keep the dollar rate at Rs100. "The faults created by the previous government cannot be rectified in three years," he added.

The minister said that there was stock of sugar for 22 days in the country. He appealed to court to listen to the matters pertaining to national importance. "The petrol price would have been Rs180 per litre had taxes on petrol kept," he added.

Fawad Chaudhary asked the people to face the situation and the hard time would end soon.

Minister for Food Security Fakhar Imam said that the flour price increased in Karachi because Sindh did not release wheat.
