ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Several political and religious parties organised rallies against the genocide of Rohingya Muslims in different cities on Sunday. Jamaat-e-Islam organised a rally in D-Chowk to support the people of Bangladesh, Egypt and against the genocide of Rohingya Muslims. Addressing the rally, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Sirajul Haq said that the international community should take steps to stop the genocide of Rohingya Muslims. In Multan, PPP workers have organised a rally against the killings of Rohingya Muslims and the statement issued by the Indian prime minister against Pakistan. A large number of citizens and party workers took part in the protest in front of Party Secretariat and chanted anti-India slogans. The protesters said that innocent Rohingya Muslims are being killed in Myanmar. “The silence of United Nations and Muslim countries is condemnable,” they said. The protesters also demanded the government raise the issue internationally.
