LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the a big farce was put on display on the Mall Road, where political goons from all across Pakistan gathered on Jan 17 Addressing a ceremony in Lahore, he said that if again given opportunity to serve the nation, he would work tirelessly for the development of Balochistan and Sindh. The chief minister said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan lies frequently, adding that the PTI chief spoke of producing electricity but never did anything in this regard. While lambasting on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Shehbaz said that the former president embezzled the money of the nation. He went on to say that he had not yet decided to appear before the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) combined investigation team (CIT) in connection with an alleged graft in a housing scheme. Seapking on the occasion, Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was now more threatening for his enemies while sitting at Jati Umra than he was at the Prime Minister House. A politician always remained politician, he added. The minister said that justice was not done to Nawaz Sharif, and that was why the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was demanding justice. They would continue speaking the truth, he added. Saad said the PML-N was defender of the country’s ideology. It was custodian of law and constitution and with it at the helm of affairs, the country would make progress, he added.
