KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Inspector General (IG) of Police Kaleem Imam penned his reservations to the chief secretary about political meddling in the police affairs. In a letter to the chief secretary, the Sindh IGP expressed his reservations about out of province transfers of police officers. He voiced his concerns about transfers of BSP-20 officer Khadim Hussain Rind and BSP-19 Dr Rizwan. He stated that Khadim Hussain was working on important issues while Rizwan Ahmed was playing an important role against dacoits in Shikarpur. He also quoted Sindh High Court and Supreme Court’s decision which grant only IG the right to appoint and transfer officers around the province.
