Politicians express grief over death of comedy king Umar Sharif

LAHORE (92 News) – Politicians have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of comedy king Umar Sharif.

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif said that the person who made all people laugh had left all people weeping today. "Umar Sharif was an excellent actor and recognition of Pakistan across the world," he added.

Expressing grief over the death of Umar Sharif, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that today the sun of humour had set in. "May Allah Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace."

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Umar Sharif had been a source of laughter for millions of people. "His artistic services will b remembered forever."

He also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
