Politics based on revenge can't last long, says Maryam Nawaz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has said that politics based on revenge cannot last long.

Talking to the media after the hearing in Islamabad High Court on Wednesday, she said that this game cannot continue for a long time and this period is about to end.

Maryam Nawaz said that the PTI had failed not only in Punjab, but in the entire province.

She said that the decisions in Afghanistan should be made as per wish of the Afghan people. "We should not interfere in the internal matters of Afghanistan. We should work along with the world to help the Afghan people," she added.

Earlier, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) adjourned the appeal against their conviction in the Avenfield reference till September 23. 

The court rejected Maryam Nawaz's plea to postpone the case for one month.
