Polling underway for NA-154 Lodhran-I by-elections

LODHRAN (92 News) – The polling for by-election in NA-154 Lodhran-I is underway today (Monday), which will continue till 5 pm without any break. Overall ten candidates are contesting the by election. However, tough contest is expected among PPP candidate Mirza Muhammad Ali Baig, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Ali Khan Tareen and PML-N's candidate Muhammad Iqbal Shah. The polling is underway and will continue till five in the evening without any break. According to returning officer, 4,31,000 voters will cast their votes in the by-election. Foolproof security arrangements have been made for holding free and fair by-election. The seat fell vacant due to disqualification of PTI MNA Jahangir Khan Tareen.
