Polling underway in NA-162 Chichawatni by-polls

CHICHAWATNI (92 News) – Polling for by-election in Punjab’s NA-162 Chichawatni is underway, which will continue till 5 pm without any break on Monday. Security forces have been deployed in and outside the polling stations. A tough contest is expected between the candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The seat fell vacant after the disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) MNA Rai Hassan Nawaz Khan. Around 340,347 registered voters will exercise their right to vote in the constituency.
