Poor people were only shown dreams during last 74 years, says Shaukat Tarin

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin has said that the poor were shown the dreams during the last 74 years.

Addressing a ceremony for distribution of interest-free loans on Thursday, he said that the promises of 'roti, kapra aur makan' were made, but the fruits of the progress could not be conveyed to the people.

"PM Imran Khan has taken practical steps for the poor. The Kamyab Programme will bring a change at the lower level," he maintained.

He said that PM Imran Khan believes in the state of Madina. "He has thought about the poor. PM says that our people do not want to beg. People's self-respect is being considered by the present government," he added.

Shaukat Tarin said that Akhuwat had given the best strategy by making the recoveries during the last few years.
