Cancellation of New Zealand cricket team tour is a conspiracy: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the cacellation of the New Zealand cricket team tour is a conspiracy.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, he said that the 'gloved hands' got the New Zealand tour postponed. "It is not appropriate to name those who hatched the conspiracy," he added.

The minister said that the Pak Army SSG was assigned the security of the visiting team. "The New Zealand team's security in-charge had expressed his satisfaction with the security arrangements," he added.

Sheikh Rasheed said that Pakistan's no security institution had received the security threat. "New Zealand itself has postponed the tour," he maintained.
