Poverty-stricken widow commits suicide in Multan

MULTAN (92 News) – A poverty-stricken widow committed suicide in Sirajabad in the Qutabpur police limits on Friday. Rubina, mother of three sons, had been living in the locality after the death of her husband four years ago. It is said that she and her sons had been hungry for the last two days. On the day of the incident, she sent her sons to school. Later, she committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan. The police have shifted the body to Nishtar Hospital for autopsy after recording the statement of her neighbours.
