NEPRA issues notification regarding reduction in power rates

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notification with regard to a cut in the rates of power on Monday. A reduction of Rs 2.59 per unit has been made in the power rates. On the other hand, an agreement has been signed with regard to the upgradation of six production units of the Mangla Hydel Power. The agreement amounts to Rs 10.80 billion.
