Power supply suspended to large parts of Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Power supply was suspended to large parts of Karachi city on Sunday morning, due to a major breakdown caused by tripping in high tension line. According to K-Electric sources, work is underway on emergency basis and electricity has been restored in a number of areas while the issue will soon be resolved in the rest of areas as well. The power outrage came under little rain and the residents of the metropolis are facing the major problems due to the breakdown of the electricity for 9 hours. The areas of Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Shah Faisal, DHA, Nazimabad and Clifton were deprived from the electricity. The troubled citizens reached at the Sea site for enjoying the weather among families.
