PPP announces to challenge presidential ordinance for open ballot in Senate election

KARACHI (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced to challenge the presidential ordinance for open ballot in the Senate election.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that the constitutional amendment can only be done through the parliament, not an ordinance.

"The presidential ordinance for the constitutional amendment is blatant contradiction. It is easy to cast vote as per one's conscious in the secret ballot," he added.

The PPP chairman said that their narrative will strengthen if the government succeeds through rigging in the Senate election. "It will be clear before the masses that each effort being made to save the government. No one cares for the masses," he added.

He said that they could not be intimidated by the NAB. "We are ready to face each tactics," he added.

Bilawal Bhutto said that the present government does not want fair and non-controversial election in the government.
