PPP announces to hold meetings in Sindh and Punjab for LG polls

DUBAI (92 News) – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Saturday leadership announce to hold meetings in Sindh and Punjab in connection with the local government polls. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address all the meetings. Sources said that 10 big meetings will be held in Punjab and five in Sindh. They added that former prime minister Pervaiz Ashraf and Qamaruz Zaman Kaira will assist Bilawal Bhutto in Punjab. The meeting also decided to make seat-adjustment in the LG polls. It also assigned MPs to highlight revengeful activities against the PPP in the National Assembly and Senate. The meeting decided to activate Anti-Corruption Establishment to reduce the influence of federal departments in Sindh. It agreed in principle to establish an accountability commission. The PPP leadership directed all leaders to celebrate Eidul Azha in their constituencies to present the party image in a better way.
