PPP asks SC to take suo motu notice of Imran Khan's statement

KARACHI (92 News) - The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has demanded that the Supreme Court should take notice of the statement of PTI chairman Imran Khan.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, PPP leader Sharjeel Memon said that Imran Khan had admitted to dissolving the assemblies on the advice of the former army chief.

"The SC should take suo motu notice of the statement of Imran Khan. Startling audios are being released daily. Imran Khan was a puppet who continued to dance on the fingers of someone else. Now someone else is holding the string of Imran Khan. We will not let succeed the attempt to impose the judicial martial law," he maintained.

PPP leader Murtaza Wahab said that the judiciary should be held accountable like the bureaucracy and politicians. "Should all judgements announced by former chief justice Saqib Nisar be withdrawn," he questioned.
