PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto demands convening of NA session

KARACHI (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has demanded convening of a session of the National Assembly. Addressing a meeting of the parliamentary committee through video link on Wednesday, he said that the federal government had failed in activating the parliament. “Protection of life of the parliamentary staff should be ensured during the session. Long discussions should be limited during the session,” he said. He said that the PPP has already demanded justified distribution of foreign aid among the provinces. “We will fully cooperate with the office of the Speaker. The presence of members for legislation and discussion should be resolved with mutual consultation,” he said. Bilawal Bhutto said that all parties are united on not to convene the virtual session.
