PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari will not attend Benazir Bhutto’s anniversary

DUBAI (92 News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has on Tuesday claimed that the party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari will not be able to reach Pakistan due to illness on the occasion of martyred former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’ anniversary.

Sources close to former president said that Asif Zardari is suffering from sugar, heart, back and knees diseases due to which the doctors barred him from travelling, while he had to undergo a heart surgery few days ago.

According to party sources, the PPP co-chairman is on wheelchair and he performed Umrah on wheelchair, while sources said that Asif Zardari didn’t use wheelchair to perform Umrah.

Party sources said that doctors are also checking former president on daily basis, while he has to undergo some medical checkups this week in Dubai.

The PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the former president will not be able to participate on the occasion of Benazir Bhutto’s anniversary.
