PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari’s Iftar dinner show flops

KARACHI (92 News) – PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari failed in removing political isolation as Iftar dinner hosted by him could not attract politicians as per his expectations. Zardari had invited entire political leadership to dinner, but the show could not succeed. ANP chief Asfandyar Wali did not arrive, but sent his delegation to the dinner. PML-Q president Ch Shujaat Hussain attended the dinner after too much contention. JI ameer Sirajul Haq refused to attended the dinner. However, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman reached the venue after saying no to the offer. The PTI had already refused to attend the dinner for not receiving the invitation. However, the PML-N complained for not being invited. The MQM attended the dinner. Two tables, out off total five, remained empty. Sources revealed that the political leadership has decided to raise the Karachi issue in Parliament. “Rangers should not exceed their powers. Political parties are united to defend the constitution,” they said.
