PPP delegation congratulates PM Shehbaz Sharif on assuming his office

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - A PPP delegation led by party chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Zardari called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday.

The delegation congratulated the prime minister on assuming his office and expressed good wishes for him.

Former president Asif Zardari assured the prime minister that the PPP will stand with the government for economic stability, development and prosperity of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, PM Shehbaz Sharif said: "I am deeply grateful to Allah Almighty and the people who have once again given me an opportunity to serve Pakistan. I thank allied parties for electing me as the prime minister. We are determined to work day and night for the development and prosperity of the country."

Senator Ishaq Dar, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar and Punjab former caretaker chief minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi were also present.
