PPP demands national conference of political, military leadership

KARACHI (92 News) – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has demanded a national conference comprising of political and military leadership. Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that former president Asif Zardari had shown that he is a brother and now it is Nawaz Sharif’s turn to do so. “We will raise the issue of resigning from the assemblies in a party meeting,” he said. He said that the N-League had made the Charter of Democracy a joke. “Problems for the government will increase if the political temperature was not controlled,” he said. Rahman Malik said that the army had played its role in the National Action Plan, while the civil leadership is not fulfilling its responsibility. “We salute COAS General Raheel Sharif for saving national integrity,” he said. He said that Dr Asim was looking for justice. “There should not be his media trial,” he added.
