KARACHI (92 News) - The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on Saturday demanded a probe into the allegations of purchasing the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Talking to the media, PPP leader Sharjeel Memon said that the election does not suit to some political parties that want to get rid of it by making it controversial and they had already fled from the local bodies elections.

He said that the PPP would resolve the problems of Pakistan after winning the elections. "The PPP is the party of the poor, not of the elite. The only Sindh government constructed houses for the flood-affected people with the ownership rights," he added.

Sharjeel Memon said that the PPP was also serving the people of Karachi. "The PTI had left no stone unturned to destroy the country," he maintained.
