PPP demands resignation of AJK PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has on Monday demanded the resignation of Azad Kashmir Prime Minister following his controversial statement. Talking to media PPP Senator Aitzaz Ahsan said that if this is the thinking of Raja Farooq Haider then he has no right to be Azad Kashmir Prime Minister. He said that the statement of Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider comes into the category of rebellion. “It is not right for a prime minister to use these types of words,” he added. Earlier, AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan had reiterated that Pakistan is the ultimate destination of Kashmiris. He said that Kashmiris had linked their destiny with Pakistan during the visit of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Srinagar in 1944. The AJK PM said that a strong and democratic Pakistan is the sole guarantee of success of Kashmir Liberation Struggle.
