PPP govt provided banned organization data to UK

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – In yet another shocking disclosure, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had in its tenure signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of the United Kingdom and provided them the data regarding the banned organization.

The cabinet of Yousaf Raza Gillani had given the nod to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) despite opposition from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The MoU provided the entire funding and support of the project by the UK government through its High Commission in Islamabad.

The negotiations were accordingly initiated through the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting with the British Government. Both sides agreed on a draft of the Memorandum of Understanding.
