PPP has decided to boycott budget session: Shazia Marri

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PPP secretary information Shazia Marri announced that her party had decided to boycott the budget session.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, she said that the government had not consulted the PPP while preparing the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). “We will not sit in the budget session until our reservations are removed,” she declared.

She said that the PPP would not sit in the House just to complete the quorum. “Our decision to boycott the budget session is final. The budget was not discussed in the meeting between President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif,” she added.
