PESHAWAR (92 News) - Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the PPP is given deadline for a few days to re-think regarding the resignations from assemblies.

Talking to the journalists after addressing a function in Peshawar, the JUI-F chief said that the option of resignations kept when the PDM was formed. "PPP has been given a few days to reconsider about resignations. God help them to understand," he added.

"It was not written anywhere that resignations would eventually be used like an atom bomb. Nine out of 10 parties were of the opinion that they should resign before the long march, but the PPP wanted to take up the matter with its Central Executive Committee (CEC) before making a decision," Maulana Fazlur Rehman maintained.

“We are waiting for PPP to make a decision. I hope they understand, we want to keep them with us," the JUI-F said. He further said that once half the House is vacated, they would have to resign.
