PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan criticizes govt over Nandipur power project, demands NAB to probe

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As the politics of allegations between government and opposition started again, Pakistan People’s Party leader Aitzaz Ahsan has on Wednesday said that strongly criticizes the government over Nandipur Power Project, while Defense Minister Khawaja Asif kept on giving explanations. Opposition leader in the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan said that a criminal case should be registered in Nandipur Power Project and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should investigate the scam. “The government was hiding corruption,” he said. Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that they do not have any objection regarding investigation at any forum, adding that the Rs35 billion of Chicho Ki Malian project is still pending. The defense minister declared previous government responsible for the failing of Nandipur Power Project.
