LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on Sundaywhile defending former president Asif Ali Zardari's statement about Rao Anwar, condemned the extra judicial killings and kidnappings in Karachi. Talking to media after condoling the death of renowned lawyer Asma Jahangir at her residence in Lahore, PPP secretary general said that party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari’s statement about Rao Anwar was taken in wrong context. Senator Farhatullah Babar defended former president Asif Ali Zardari's statement about Rao Anwar. Senator Taj Haider said that he was hopeful about Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar doing same justice with Sharjeel Memon which he does with leaders of other parties. The PPP leaders went on to say that they do not want Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) to suffer because that would not be beneficial for democracy.
