PPP leader Saeed Ghani accuses SBP of facilitating Fehmida Mirza, Zulfiqar Mirza

KARACHI/LAHORE (92 News) - PPP leader Saeed Ghani has accused the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) of facilitating Fehmida Mirza and Zulfiqar Mirza, saying that the Mirza family could not repay the bank loan.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that the Mirza family had concealed the facts in the documents. "According to the law, there is no room for the restoration of the nomination papers of the Mirza family," he added.

PPP leader Shazia Marri said that the PPP had been pushed aside under a strategy in Punjab. "We will not further tolerate such attitude," she added.

She said that the PPP had always fulfilled the promises made in the elections. "The PPP will eliminate poverty from the country, which was its slogan as well," she maintained.
