PPP moves application to lodge FIR against Rasheed for threatening Bilawal
LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) on Tuesday moved an application to lodge a case against Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed for hurling death threats to party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The application filed by Gilgit-Baltistan Food Minister Muhammad Jaffar stating that Sheikh Rasheed hurled death threats to the PPP chairman, hence action should be taken against the accused.
On the other hand, addressing a press conference, PPP leader Chaudhry Manzoor said that the party leaders and party workers will tomorrow (on Wednesday) express solidarity with the innocent party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
“We used to ignore the AML chief’s but Rasheed while calling Bilawal Bhutto as kid, advised him to be careful to avoid political death,” he termed. The PPP leader also said that first party’s founder was killed then his daughter Benazir Bhutto was martyred in terrorist attack and same thing is again under discussion.

Earlier, commenting on the remarks given by the PPP chairman, Shiekh Rasheed said he twice spared PPP Chairman for passing remarks against me, but from now he would not spare him. Bilawal was a child so he should play carefully; otherwise, his politics would end at this stage," he added. The PPP leadership desired that their trials should be heard in their province. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday decided to appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on March 20.
According to the sources, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be accompanied by party leaders and lawyers upon his appearance before the NAB on March 20.
It was reported that all the PPP workers (Jiyalas) were directed to reach in Islamabad for expressing solidarity with the party chairman. Meanwhile, the PPP’s Punjab leadership will set to leave for the federal capital on the morning of March 20.
It was also reported that the anti-graft watchdog will hand over a questionnaire comprising 100 questions to PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and party chief in the fake bank accounts case.
