PPP minister Imdad Pitafi apologizes to Nusrat Abbasi over derogatory remark

KARACHI (92 News) – On the notice of PPP leadership, Provincial Minister Imdad Pitafi has apologized to MPA Nusrat Sehr Abbasi of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) for his derogatory remark against her during the Sindh Assembly proceeding on Friday. In his apology, he declared the female MPA his sister. “It is not the issue of apology on the party order. I had felt my mistake yesterday,” he said. Meanwhile, the PPP has issued a show-cause notice to the provincial minister under instructions from Bilawal Bhutto. On the other hand, Nusrat Sehr Abbasi refused to accept the apology of the provincial minister. She said that Imdad Pitafi had apologized under pressure from the party and his style was not shameful. “I will not become Naila Rind and proceed against him,” he said. She demanded the resignation of Pitafi as well as his expulsion from the party.
