PPP nominates Bilawal Bhutto as candidate for slot of PM
LAHORE (92 News) - The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on Thursday nominated party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for the slot of the prime minister.
The decision was made during a meeting of the PPP Central Executive Committee presided over by Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto.
Asif Zardari presented the name of Bilawal Bhutto as candidate for the premiership. The CEC endorsed the resolution.
Meanwhile, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has presented the party manifesto for the general elections. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the PPP will double the salaries of the people if they voted the PPP to the power. "The government will provide free power up to 300 units through the solar energy. People will be provided with free medical treatment and each child will be provided standar education," he declared.
He said that they want to construct three million houses for the poor people.
