PPP not a supporter of early elections, says Khursheed Shah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has on Tuesday said that the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) was not a supporter of early elections. Talking to media in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that the next general elections should be held under 1998 census, adding that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had friendship with former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf. Commenting on the security of the former PM on the occasion of his appearance before the accountability court, the opposition leader said that Nawaz Sharif has the right to carry his private security but using government security was wrong. Shah said that adjourning parliament session without taking everyone in confidence is a joke with the parliament.
