PPP, PML-N demand investigations into Rawalpindi commissioner's allegations of rigging

LAHORE (92 News) - The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have demanded investigations into allegations levelled by the Rawalpindi commissioner.

Reacting to the statement on Saturday, PPP leader Faisal Karim Kundi said that it was a big allegation. "The question arises as to why the commissioner's conscience woke up after 10 days. Facts should be made public," he added.

PML-N spokesperson Uzma Bukhari said that no PML-N candidate had won by so much margin. "Such press conferences are held if social media is used and there is pressure from overseas Pakistanis besides the use of drugs," she aded.

She said that facts would be revealed in the investigations.
