PPP prepares no-confidence motion against PM, NA speaker & Punjab CM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) has prepared no-confidence motion Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. According to the sources, the opposition’s all parties conference (APC) against the government will propose a no-confidence motion against the government today. However, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has completed consultations with other party leaders regarding the no-confidence motion. The PPP will present all these suggestions before the APC. It was also reported that the joint resignations from the National Assembly and other options will be discussed during the APC meeting. Meanwhile, the opposition is expected to announce nationwide rallies against the government. The APC will have suggestions from all members and the final declaration will be unanimous. Earlier, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto will preside over the opposition’s All-Parties Conference (APC) on Sunday. An 11-member delegation of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), including Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, will participate in the APC. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Pervaiz Rasheed, Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Rana Sanaullah, Ameer Muqam and Marriyum Aurangzeb are also likely to attend the APC. Sources said that PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has agreed to attend the APC through the video link. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman will again press the APC for tendering resignations from the assemblies. However, big political parties are avoiding the option of resignations. The APC will review the two-year performance of the government and discuss the future strategy. All opposition parties will present proposals regarding the future course of action. Sources said that political activities in London had increased. “Nawaz Sharif has also invited the opposition leaders, including Bilawal Bhutto, to London for bringing a no-confidence move after the APC,” they added.
