PPP's Sarfraz Bugti elected as Balochistan CM with 41 votes

QUETTA (92 News) - Sarfraz Bugti of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has been elected as the chief minister of Balochistan with 41 votes.

The newly-elected chief minister will take the oath as chief minister today. Balochistan Governor Abdul Wali Khan Kakar will administer the oath to him.

Before the election, he reached the residence of BNP chief Abdul Malik Baloch. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed the resolve to take all parties along for the progress and welfare of the province.

Earlier, the PPP had nominated Satfraz Bugti for slot of Balochistan chief minister. The approval was accorded in a meeting presided over by PPP top leader Asif Ali Zardari.

Talking to the media, Sarfraz Bugti has thanked Asif Zardari on his nomination. He said that they would resolve the problems of Balochistan through dialogue. "We will take all the people along with us," he added.
