PPP stages countrywide protest against shortage of gas

KARACHI (92 News) – The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) staged countrywide protest against the shortage of gas.

Protest demonstrations were staged in Karachi, Larkana, Multan, Qambar, Mirpur Khas, Shikarpur and other cities. The protesters also staged sit-ins and chanted slogans against the government.

In a tweet, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that the PTI's incompetence created the gas crisis. He said that the gas prices had increased by 300 percent.

"The people are facing difficulties without gas in the coldest month.

Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani said that demonstrations were being staged and there will be shortage of wood in the country as well.
