PPP to meet same fate in Sindh as PML-N in Punjab: Aleem Khan

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab senior minister Aleem Khan said on Sunday that the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) will meet the same fate in Sindh as Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) faced in Punjab. Speaking to different delegations at his office, the senior minister said that the Sharif brothers should prepare a barrack for former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari Zardari now. ALeem Khan sarcastically remarked that all thieves come to the field for rescue of Asif Ali Zardari. He added that the PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif should be happy that his ‘Ali baba and forty thieves’ are being taken into account. He also mentioned that the people who looted Sindh will have to be accountable and former president and Zardari will fail in his attempt to play the ‘Sindh card’. The PTI leader further said that those who had the penchant to level accusations against others have been exposed in front of the people of Pakistan. “Rather than giving answers on the JIT findings they are hiding away,” he said. – Zulfi Bukhari demands Sindh CM’s resignation – Prime Minister Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari has demanded the resignation of Sindh Chief Minister Sayed Murad Ali Shah. Zulfi Bukhari took his twitter and said, “While only landgrabbers/thieves/mafia come to Zardari Cartel’s rescue, a new LOW was reached by Murad Ali Shah when held accountable for his corruption. Shame on him for being a blind servant trying to justify his loyalty by stooping so low without any respect for.”   In another tweet he added, “his own family name. Before acting worse than scum defending Zardari-the criminal who’s own wife had disowned him & resorting to personal attacks, he should think if the same was reciprocated. Resignation should be the least of his options!”   The PTI minister’s remarks came a day before Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry is scheduled to visit Karachi to meet the party leaders amid reports of the governor's rule in the province. Yesterday, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) also have demanded Sindh CM Murad s resignation. However, the FIA is investigating 32 people in relation to money laundering from fictitious accounts, including Zardari and Talpur. Zardari’s close aide Hussain Lawai was arrested in July in connection with the probe. The former president’s other close aide and Omni Group chairman Anwar Majeed a close aide and Omni Group chairman and his son, Abdul Ghani, were arrested by FIA in August. Over 20 ‘benami’ accounts at some private banks were opened in 2013, 2014 and 2015 from where transactions worth billions of rupees were made, according to sources. The amount, according to FIA sources, is said to be black money gathered from various kickbacks, commissions and bribes.
