KARACHI (92 News) – The birth anniversary of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was observed on Saturday. Bhutto, who was born in 1928, gave the politics a new dimesion by bringing it from the drawing room to streets. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto belongs to rich family, but he always presented the philosophy of a common man in practical politics. He had written a letter to the founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah during his student life, saying that one day he will sacrifice his life for Pakistan. From the cabinet of Sikander Mirza to Ayub Khan, he also served as Civilian Martial Law Administrator. Besides having expertise in foreign affairs, his speech in the United Nations is a part of the history. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is known to be the founder of new political trends in the country. After the formation of the Pakistan People’s Party, the voice of laboures, ‘haris’ and peasants was heard in the Houses. The credit of the issuance of ‘One-Man, One-ID Card’ and a unanimous constitution goes to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The founder of the atomic Pakistan was hanged in a murder case. His party is in the clutches of the system against whom he rebelled.
